We went to Extra Foods to do some grocery last Monday. When we were near the school supplies section, I can strongly smell the papers only did I realize school had just started. I can’t help myself but grab some notebooks and touch the blank papers.
I was nostalgic at that moment; I remember how excited I was every first day of school bringing all my new stuffs afraid of messing any pages so I neatly wrote on it. But at the end of the school year, it was filled with doodles and writings.
You can`t blame me if I feel this way, I was in school even I`m still inside my Mom`s womb (she`s a teacher by the way) and I went to school from Day Care to earning academic years in Masters. So just imagine how many years I spent in school. And the smells of school supplies keep me want to go back to school.
It is not a surprise if smells will keeps me want to go back to school, according to a survey conducted by Staples Canada, almost 90% of Canadian adults admit that a particular smell – whether it`s the scent of chalk, paper or pencils – takes them back to school as children get ready for a new school year.
